Ahead of the Africa Trade Gateway (ATG) Workshop – Kenya Chapter, held yesterday in Nairobi, a delegation from Afreximbank and Real Sources Africa Official paid a courtesy call on the Cabinet Secretary for Co-operatives and MSMEs Development, Hon. Wycliffe Oparanya, and the Principal Secretary for the State Department for Trade, Hon. Regina Ombam.
The delegation shared updates on the Africa Trade Gateway platform and the immense opportunities it presents to Kenyan businesses, MSMEs, importers, and exporters. The ATG provides a trusted ecosystem to boost intra-African trade in a safe, orderly, and transparent manner.
As the gateway of East Africa, Kenya plays a central role in regional trade. With its leadership in key commodities such as coffee, tea, and flowers and its strong position in Africa’s digital revolution hosting the ATG Workshop is timely. It underscores Afreximbank’s commitment to building the infrastructure, partnerships, and digital platforms that unlock Africa’s trade potential.
